ANNAPOLIS, Md. — A new Wonder location has opened its doors on Riva Road in Annapolis, offering a multi-restaurant experience where customers can pick and choose from an assortment of unique dishes in close collaboration with award-winning chefs. Many of the restaurants on Wonder’s menu aren’t otherwise available in Maryland, affording diners a particularly distinct experience.
A grand opening ceremony was held for the Annapolis location on the evening of Feb. 5, offering live music, cocktails, samples and a variety of delicious dishes from various restaurants, all conveniently available at one location.
Though Wonder is still relatively new, having been founded in 2021, the popular chain is growing fast. With about 100 locations and more planned to open in the near future, Wonder is quickly becoming a core pillar of the restaurant scene across the East Coast.
Bobby Flay and Marcus Samuelsson are just a few of the talented chefs who work in close collaboration with the Wonder platform to create and serve a wide variety of popular dishes to Wonder’s customers across their many locations.

Diners can order burgers, filet mignon, kebabs, burrito bowls and much more at the Wonder food hall in Annapolis. The menu is available for browsing at in-store kiosks and on the Wonder mobile app, offering a simple way to order your food for delivery or for dining in.
Alongside its collection of entrees, Wonder also serves a large variety of sides from different cuisines, letting customers mix and match different dishes to create the ultimate meal.
Families and friend groups have no need to compromise when dining at Wonder, as there are high-quality options on the menu that’ll satisfy everyone’s tastes.
What Makes Wonder Special?

The BayNet attended the grand opening event in Annapolis to sample a few dishes off Wonder’s expansive menu. Using Wonder’s giant selection of different dishes, we were able to create a distinct meal that mixed American food like burgers and chicken tenders with an assortment of healthy sides, including broccolini and baba ghanoush.
What stood out to us was the menu full of distinct items which, usually, wouldn’t be offered at one single restaurant. Options were also available for diners with food allergies, and even the burger had a gluten-free bun option.
At the event, The BayNet asked what makes Wonder special, and the company summed up its core specialty in a few sentences: “The biggest thing for us is that, ultimately, it’s about what you’re looking to order. Everybody can get what they’re looking for at one location.”

With options like Burger Baby, Streetbird and Detroit Brick Pizza Co., there’s never a lack of choices to try. Picking up your order is as easy as any other restaurant, and seating is available at the Annapolis location for customers looking to dine in.
As Wonder celebrates its most recent restaurant opening in Annapolis, it’s looking to grow even further into Maryland. Annapolis isn’t the only location currently available in our state; there are also active storefronts in Baltimore and College Park.
Wonder is currently planning to open restaurants in Frederick and North Bethesda in 2026, and even more in surrounding states like Virginia, bringing the unique dining platform to Americans across the East Coast.

I wanted to love Wonder, so I placed an order for delivery…
After an hour and a half wait, my first attempt to deliver was left at an address that was not mine.
After waiting on hold forever, I was promised a reorder that would be delivered in half an hour…after waiting another hour and a half and being put on hold while the rep was reaching out to the delivery person, as I could see on their map that he was not heading in my direction, I hung up after 30 minutes. Did I mention that I live less than a mile from the Wonder location?
Second delivery was left someplace other than my home.
Delivery and customer service were a disaster!!!
If the food is prepared in the same manner, I feel sorry for your stomach….perhaps I should be happy that it was not delivered….
…sounds like an issue with the delivery service/driver… Perhaps you could try another delivery service… Wonder partners with Grub Hub… JS… The restaurant is quite nice with friendly service… They actually operate more efficiently than most other restaurants… Maybe the 3rd time will be the charm…
