Two highly trained Fire/Rescue/EMS teams from St. Leonard Vol. Fire & Rescue were deployed to the Pass Christian area of Harrison County on Oct. 8 to assist with the recovery and to give the Rescue personnel a much needed break.

A unit of the Calvert County Sheriffs Special Operations Unit accompanied the fire personnel from St Leonard.

ABC channel 13 WLOX in Mississippi featured a St. Leonard firefighter in a clip about the relief effort.
