At 7:30 p.m. Thursday, police and rescue volunteers responded to a two vehicle crash on Route 235 near Spring Ridge Middle School.
There were six people in the vehicles, and all had escaped the vehicles by the time help arrived.
After checking out the head injury on one patient, medical personnel made the call for a helicopter transport to Prince Georges Hospital. Two others were taken to St. Mary’s County Hospital.
The crash knocked power lines onto a car, and shut down Route 235 while the scene was cleared.
