LEXINGTON PARK, Md. – On April 21, at approximately 7:52 p.m., emergency personnel responded to a serious motor vehicle accident on Three Notch Road at the intersection of Hermanville Road.

Crews arrived and found two vehicles involved in a head-on collision. EMS evaluated one patient on the scene and transported them to MSPAC Hanger at the St. Mary’s County Regional Airport to meet Trooper 7.

One Flown Out After Serious Head-On Collision In Lexington Park

Maryland State Police Aviation Command, Trooper 7 flew the patient to UM Captiol Region Trauma Center for treatment. A second patient signed a care refusal on the scene.

    1. nah one of them was intoxicated. the gf tried running away n they both had beer on their breath.

  1. Iam not too familiar with this intersection of Thhree Notche Road and Hermanville Road but, always read about these serious accidents take place. Looking at some of the pictures it looks like there is a traffic light for this intersection. So what appears to be the major problem with this? Curious Minds Wants to know?

  2. THAT intersection has had SO MANY accidents. Let’s please figure out why and how to change this horrific trend.

  3. Once again another accident at this intersection. I had to drive around to avoid it. I am now on double digits on the accidents I have visually seen at this intersection. Still dont know why there are no cameras or anything in place to help with accidents happening in the same areas. Whoever is in charge of transportation/roadways in St.Marys should be fired.
