CHARLOTTE HALL, Md. — A new fitness and recovery center is moving from blueprints to construction in northern St. Mary’s County as work begins on One50Fitness in Charlotte Hall.

The company announced Nov. 22 that work has started on its facility at 37670 Mohawk Drive, calling the project “the physical foundation for fitness and recovery, redefined.”

One50Fitness is led by a five-member team: co-owners Steve Sudnick, Jason Burroughs and Lou Nicholas, marketing manager Janelle Schwab and recovery manager Jenna Kline. The group is overseeing the build-out and business launch, which will combine traditional gym offerings with a focus on recovery services.

A grand opening date has not been set, but the company said progress is steady and an opening timeline will be shared once construction advances.

Prospective members can join an email list at one50fitness.com to receive updates on construction, pre-sale membership opportunities and the eventual opening date.
