Prince Frederick, MD – On Tuesday, the City of College Park voted to give non-citizens the right to vote.  The measure passed 4-3 to allow non-citizens to vote in citywide elections.

College Park, Maryland is now the largest city to allow non-citizens to vote in the U.S.!

During the debate, a Town Councilman offered an amendment that would allow voters to decide the issue in a referendum.  Knowing such a referendum would not pass, a majority of the Council, including the Mayor, refused to allow legal voters to decide.

Simply put, citizens were disenfranchised in order to give non-citizens the right to vote.

If you ever wondered why the Progressive Left opposes voter ID, College Park is a great example. Progressives believe that American citizenship is meaningless.
