Out-of-Towners Smoke Out Hotel Room, Get Arrested

At 1:10 a.m. May 14, TPR Ewig of the Prince Frederick trooper barrack and Calvert County Sheriff CPL Gregory, responded to the Holiday Inn Express, Prince Frederick, for a drug use complaint.

Upon locating the room in question, the officers detected the odor of suspected marijuana. After entering the room, suspected marijuana and CDS paraphernalia were recovered.

Arrested for possession of marijuana and CDS paraphernalia were  Robert Edmond Connors, II, 34, of Brick, NJ, and Daniel Vincent Peragine, 35, of Salt Lake City, UT.

After processing, the two were transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing.
