
SEVERN, Md. — An 84-year-old Pasadena man was killed in a two-vehicle crash late Saturday night on Route 100 in Anne Arundel County.
Emergency personnel and officers with the Anne Arundel County Police Department responded around 11:55 p.m. on March 28, 2026, to eastbound Paul T. Pitcher Memorial Highway (MD Route 100) near WB&A Road for a reported collision.
A preliminary investigation determined a 2007 Lexus was traveling eastbound on Route 100 when it struck a 2007 Honda from the rear. Both vehicles came to rest on the right shoulder of the roadway.
The driver of the Honda, identified as Kenneth S. King, 84, of Pasadena, was pronounced dead at the scene by emergency personnel.
The driver of the Lexus, a 38-year-old man from Capitol Heights, was not injured.
The Anne Arundel County Police Crash Reconstruction Team responded to process the scene and is continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
