
TEMPLE HILLS, Md. – The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Unit is investigating a now fatal collision involving a pedestrian that occurred in October in Temple Hills. The victim is 47-year-old Deon Anthony Smith of no fixed address. He died of his injuries on December 14, 2024.
On October 17, 2024, officers were called to 4300 block of St. Barnabas Road for a hit-and-run collision involving a pedestrian.
The preliminary investigation revealed the involved driver struck the victim on St. Barnabas Road. The driver did not remain on scene. Officers are working to identify the driver and striking vehicle in this incident.
