Calvert County Sheriff’s Officers responded to a car crash Wednesday afternoon while nearly every firefighter in Southern Maryland, and cop in Calvert County, was working at the blaze that consumed two restaurants on Solomon’s Island’s waterfront.
This vehicle shed its front bumper in the crash and began leaking fluid on the roadway. The crash occurred near the foot of the Thomas Johnson Bridge as police were directing traffic away from the scene of the big fire.
