UPPER MARLBORO, Md. — The Prince George’s County sheriff’s office is asking for the public’s help in locating a Temple Hills man wanted on a bench warrant tied to a rape conviction and alleged probation violations.
Deputies are seeking Milton Christopher Wright, 33, of Temple Hills. A sheriff’s wanted poster lists Wright as wanted on a warrant for first-degree rape, with additional underlying charges that include second-degree rape, first- and third-degree burglary, reckless endangerment, fourth-degree sex offense and second-degree assault.
Court records show Wright pleaded guilty in 2018 in Prince George’s County Circuit Court to second-degree rape and first-degree burglary stemming from a July 2017 offense. He was sentenced to 20 years in prison on each count, with most of the time suspended, and placed on five years of supervised probation.
The case was reopened in 2025 on an alleged violation of probation. A hearing was set for Oct. 10 in circuit court, but records indicate Wright failed to appear. Judge C. Philip Nichols Jr. issued a bench warrant Oct. 16 that remains active.
The sheriff’s office has released a recent photograph of Wright and is urging anyone who sees him not to approach, but to contact law enforcement.
