The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of St. Mary’s County Event Leadership Team would like to thank our community for its amazing support during our 2015 season!
Over 689 people participated in the Relay For Life of St. Mary’s County held at St. Mary’s County Fairgrounds on June 6th, 2015. The amount of donations raised by the 77 teams and sponsors totaled over $188,800! This year’s event was sponsored by Wildewood Group, Imagine One, MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital, Eagle Systems, Avian, ExtraSpace Storage, SMECO, Dyson Building Center, Personalized Therapy, Hair It Is Salon & Spa, St. Mary’s County ELKS Lodge, and Bayside Dental.
The second annual Bark For Life of St. Mary’s County, a smaller and “furrier” event just for canines and their owners, was held at Lancaster Park on August 8th, 2015. Over 40 dogs and their owners gathered for a fun-filled morning of tricks, treats, and wagging tails, and raised over $3,000! 2015 Bark For Life Sponsors included Three Notch Veterinary Hospital, Park Veterinary Clinic, JT Productions, Trails End Pet Sitting, Indian Bridge Kennels and Suites, and PetValu.
