Ronald Sylvester Buckler

Ronald Sylvester Buckler Jr., 49, of Mechanicsville, Maryland, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2025, surrounded by family.

Born on April 5, 1976, in Annapolis, Maryland, he was the son of the late Ronald Buckler Sr. and Tippy (Zang) Buckler.

Ronald was a lifelong Marylander who worked in building maintenance, where he was known for his reliability, strong work ethic, and willingness to lend a hand wherever needed. Outside of work, he found peace and joy in the outdoors, especially when hunting or fishingโ€”two of his favorite pastimes.

A talented musician, Ronald played bass guitar in the local band Critical Mass, where he shared his love of music with friends and the community. His humor, easygoing nature, and quiet generosity will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.

Ronald is survived by his siblings, Mike Buckler (Traci) of Lexington Park, MD; Kurt Buckler (Shelly) of Mechanicsville, MD; and Christina Buckler of Chaptico, MD. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Service information will be shared with friends and family at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages those who knew Ronald to honor his memory by spending time outdoors, listening to good music, and cherishing time with loved ones.
