Ryken Boys Varsity lacrosse team faced off against the St. Mary’s Saints Tuesday evening in their season and home opener.
After back and forth scoring during the first half, the St. Mary’s Saints ended the period on top seven to five.
During the second half, the Saints extended their lead, and controlled the tempo of the match for the rest of the period to secure a fourteen to eight victory for themselves.
The Ryken Knights were lead by Bray Dunaway with four goals and one assist, followed by Zack Angel, Tyler Cook, Tyler Spaulding, and Reggie Harvey all with one goal.
For the Saints – Pastrana and De Pol both contributed to the win with three goals each.
