TheBayNet reached out the Charles County Sheriff’s Office; a comment was made by Diane Richardson, who is the Public Information Office of Charles County Sheriff’sย Office.ย 

“We have identifiedย a person of interest in this matter, we will continue to investigate this issue,” said Richarson.ย 


Update Nov.15 ย 9:44 p.m.

ย “For you concern about a rumor of problems at North Point High School, we have worked with Charles County Sheriff’s Office. All schools will open as usual tomorrow,”ย According to Dr.Kimberly Hill, who is Superintendent of Charles County Public Schools.ย 

It was reported that a student was going to bring a gun to the school after multiple messages that were noticed on social media.ย
