Leonardtown, MD – St. Mary’s County Department of Recreation and Parks announces that the Great Mills Swimming Pool will be closed for seasonal maintenance, beginning Tuesday, September 8 and continuing through Sunday, September 20. The pool will reopen for normal hours of operation on Monday, September 21.
During this time, the pool’s air supported “bubble” structure will be re-installed, making the pool an indoor facility. Other seasonal maintenance and staff training will occur while the pool is closed.
