PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. — Emergency crews responded Tuesday, Aug. 19, to a serious ATV crash in Prince Frederick that left a 53-year-old man badly injured.

The crash was reported around 6 p.m. in the 5000 block of Hallowing Point Road. First responders found the rider suffering from injuries that prompted a request for a Maryland State Police helicopter.

The MEDEVAC was unavailable due to weather conditions. Instead, the patient was taken by ambulance to a nearby trauma center for advanced care.
