Serious crash overturns vehicle in St. Mary’s

UPDATE 12/15/17 – The accident is currently being investigated by the St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office. Initial unconfirmed reports show that the accident was a single vehicle crash. The occupants of the vehicle are said to be uninjured at this time. 

ST. INIGOES, Md. – On December 15 at 10:40 a.m., TheBayNet.com received reports of a serious motor vehicle accident located on Point Lookout Road near Whitaker Road of St. Inigoes. 

Reports say that the crash has overturned one vehicle and at least one motorist is trapped. 

Crews are responding to the scene. Motorists are advised to use caution in the area.
