Owings, MD – On Wednesday, August 19 at approximately 7:10 a.m., units responded to a serious vehicle accident on Lower Marlboro Road and Johns Chapel Road.
As units arrived on the scene they found a single vehicle that went off the roadway going East on Lower Marlboro Road and struck some type cable guard railing then one or two trees.
The driver was the only person in the vehicle and had to be extracted by Squad 5 of Dunkirk. The driver was then flown out to Prince George’s Trauma.
The roadway had to be closed in both directions until all emergency vehicles cleared the roadway.
