SILVER SPRING, Md. — Olympic gold medalist and three-time Olympian Dominique Dawes will celebrate the opening of her fifth Dominique Dawes Academy location with an exclusive press preview and ribbon-cutting ceremony in her hometown of Silver Spring.

Dawes, founder of Dominique Dawes Academy, will be on site and available for interviews, along with Academy CEO Adam Zeitsiff. Light refreshments will be provided during the event.

The press preview and ribbon cutting will take place Thursday, Feb. 19, 2026, at 6 p.m. at Dominique Dawes Academy – Silver Spring, located at 12006 Plum Orchard Drive, Silver Spring, MD 20904.

The Silver Spring location marks a meaningful homecoming for Dawes, who began her gymnastics journey in the community. It is the fifth Dominique Dawes Academy in the DMV region and part of a broader plan to expand to 50 locations nationwide over the next five years.

Media coverage opportunities will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony, guided tours of the facility, and interview availability with Dawes and Zeitsiff.
