Leonardtown, MD – December 11, 2019 –  State’s Attorney Richard Fritz and members of the State’s Attorney’s Office participated in a check presentation to the United Way of St. Mary’s County to benefit the Snack Sak program.

The Snack Sak program in the County provides approximately 150 children ages 4 to 12 years old (pre-K to 5th grade) who have been determined to be at risk for not having enough food on the weekends with a backpack containing 7lbs of nutritional snack food on Fridays to get them through the weekend (and Holidays).
