Indian Head, MD – On November 2, 2019, the Indian Head Volunteers hosted The Charles County Volunteer Firemen’s Association and the Red Cross in support of “The Sound the Alarm” smoke alarm campaign. Volunteers from Indian Head and the American Red Cross went thru the Town of Indian Head from 9 AM to 2 PM door to door an installed smoke detectors.
“We were able to install 87 smoke detectors in 30 homes; this was a great success” said JW King, Project Coordinator.
We are planning to work other areas of the community in the very near future.
We want to thank the Red Cross for their support and commitment and Mission BBQ in Waldorf for the awesome lunch they provided!
