On Friday Oct. 24, the St. Maryโs County Community Health Fair will be held by the Department of Aging at the Loffler Senior Center in Great Mills from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Over 600 citizens attended the event last year to learn more about the latest health and wellness news and products from over 50 exhibitors. Flu and pneumonia inoculations will be available. Those on Medicare must bring their cards; otherwise the inoculations are available for a small donation.
During the event, Medicare patients will be able to learn more about the Medicare Prescription Drug Program in addition to other provided information. There will also be trained medical clinicians available to perform blood profile work-ups at very reasonable fees, depending upon the patientโs age and services required.
All are welcome to attend and listen to a wide variety of health screenings, presentations, demonstrations and entertainment scheduled throughout the day. For more information, call (301) 475-4200 ext. 1073 or log on to www.stmarysmd.com/doa.
