ST. MARY’S COUNTY, Md. – Over the past three days, our internal snow‑removal team and contracted partners have worked tirelessly to clear our school lots of significant snow and ice accumulation, and we are deeply grateful for their efforts. Despite this progress, several schools still have ice-covered bus lots, parking areas, and sidewalks.
Out of an abundance of caution, schools will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, January 29, 2026. The safety of our students, staff, and families remains our highest priority. Thank you for your understanding, flexibility, and ongoing support.
As a reminder, Friday, January 30, 2026 is a scheduled Professional Day for staff and is a non-student day.
