St. Mary’s County’s Bethany Yeh Inspires Through Music With Debut Single, 'Still Small Voice'

LEXINGTON PARK, Md. — Southern Maryland native Bethany Yeh is set to make her mark in the music world with the release of her debut single, “Still Small Voice,” on Jan. 31, 2025. The track will be available on all music streaming platforms and is now available for pre-saving.

Yeh, 22, grew up in St. Mary’s County’s Wildewood neighborhood. She now resides in Lexington Park, continuing her lifelong connection to her hometown.

“I’ve grown up in a family full of musicians. I have seven siblings, and we were all homeschooled and started doing music,” Yeh said. “Music’s just been a huge part of my life. As I’ve gotten older and grown in my faith — I’m a Christian — there have been so many different things that I want to share with the world. That has definitely greatly inspired my musical journey.”

Her journey has taken her to Nashville multiple times over the past four years, where she’s collaborated with songwriters and producers. Yeh recorded her debut single during a trip in March 2024 and plans to return to Nashville this year to continue her work.

“It’s called ‘Still Small Voice,’ and the message of the song has multiple layers,” Yeh explained. “The main message is the confidence and reassurance that everyone has a purpose in life. In your early twenties, there’s a lot of unknowns, but through that, I’ve found confidence in my faith and knowing God has a plan for everybody’s life.”

Yeh’s project is privately funded. “This is a really special song with a really special message to me. I’m excited to have the opportunity to share it, and I’m hoping to share more music and more of my story as I grow,” Yeh said. “It’s been an amazing journey to see how God provides in different ways, and I’m super excited to see what might be coming next.”

Yeh’s single, “Still Small Voice,” aims to connect with listeners navigating their own uncertainties and seeking inspiration in their journey. For more updates, the song can be pre-saved now and will officially release on Jan. 31.
