POMFRET, Md. – The National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) chapter at Stethem Educational Center is proud to announce that it has been awarded the distinguished Silver Star of Excellence Award. This prestigious award is given to chapters that exemplify the NTHS Core Four Objectives, providing a holistic and enriching experience for its members.
The Silver Star of Excellence Award recognizes chapters that demonstrate outstanding achievements in the areas of career development, leadership, service, and recognition. The Stethem Educational Center NTHS chapter has excelled in these areas, creating meaningful engagement opportunities that highlight the importance of Career and Technical Education (CTE) at our institution.
Monique Robinson-Poole, Chapter Advisor of Stethem Educational Center NTHS, stated: “Our scholars are focused, and busy preparing for life after high school by blending academics, with real-world CTE work-based learning in their fields of interest. In addition community service, leadership amd service remain a priority in their quest for excellence.”
The Stethem Educational Center’s NTHS chapter’s notable achievements include The 2024 Foundational Chapter Award, and 2024 Advisor Award granted to Mrs. Robinson-Poole, and the induction of record numbers of students in the Charles County, Maryland. These efforts have significantly contributed to the development of its members, fostering a culture of leadership, service, and professional growth.
