The Southern Maryland Blue Crabs and Donald M. Wade Aquatic Center have teamed up to bring you the Swim the Bases camp! Campers will participate in group games and activities at Regency Furniture Stadium in the morning, then walk over to Donald M. Wade Aquatic Center for an afternoon of swimming. Camp Splash teaches campers swimming and diving skills, the importance of water safety, and aquatic games while also offering traditional camp activities.
Explore science, technology, architecture, engineering, and more at our Brick Inspiration LEGO Camp. Campers will design, build, and light up entire cities of tall buildings, bridges, and roads while using batteries, wires and switches to bring their creations to life. This camp will fire up your child’s imagination and spark their creativity! If your child prefers to save the world from the most evil of villains, our Superheroes and Villains Workshop is perfect for them! Each day campers will focus on a different superhero or villain and participate in creative and fun superhero activities.
High school soccer players can join former professional and collegiate instructors for training at the WHIPS/Tri-City F.C. High School Prep Soccer Camp. Instructors have adapted their training to prepare players for the next level of competition. Campers must attend high school as of September 2018. Our Parkour Camp is perfect to test your child’s physical creativity through spins, flips, and tricks! Our obstacle courses are designed to provide the ultimate Parkour experience.
There is still plenty of time to sign up for our Summer Day Camp! Campers can spend their days with arts and crafts, fun sports competitions, organized games, and special events with guest presenters. Weekly trips to the pool and a special event or field trip are included. This camp is available at the Hanson, Henson, Somers, and Wade Community Centers as well as Elite Gymnastics and Recreation Center. Before and after care are available!
