UPDATE 10:23 AM – Power to the traffic lights in Leonardtown has been restored to full operating capacity.
UPDATE 10:00 AM – The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office is reporting a power outage. 9-1-1 calls are still able to be completed as dialed. Call 301-475-8008 for non-emergency calls.
UPDATE 9:30 AM – A power outage affecting parts of Leonardtown has temporarily disrupted phone service to a county government,
Persons wishing to call a county government agency or department are asked to wait until the outage has been resolved. The outage, however, is not impacting the 911 system and the call center continues to operate normally.
SMECO has been advised and is currently working to correct the situation.
