Lusby, MD – On Saturday, June 13 a group of Patuxent High School (PHS) Naval Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (NJROTC) students spent the morning working on a senior military veteran’s home. The refurbishing project was organized and supervised by Christmas in April Calvert County, Exelon Generation and Dominion Cove Point.

According to Steve Sanders of the local Christmas in April, the scope of the work involved painting the exterior of the house, as well as landscaping. Sanders hailed the project as a “celebration of volunteerism with some great young people.”
