Suspicious Operations Lead to Recovery of Stolen Vehicle

On April 23, Deputy Fahey stopped Melissa Jean Redman, 27 of Lexington Park, for operating a motor vehicle in a suspicious manner. 

Redman kept stopping and starting her vehicle in the middle of the roadway.  Redman’s vehicle was stopped at the intersection of Great Mills Road and Jay Dee Court in Lexington Park.  The vehicle displayed North Carolina registration.  A computer check of the vehicle’s registration indicated the registration was stolen from North Carolina. 

Redman was arrested and charged with theft and unlawful taking of a motor vehicle.
