On Dec. 17, Senior Deputy First Class D. Corcoran responded to a disturbance on Castaway Circle in Lexington Park.
Investigation revealed the victim was in a verbal dispute which escalated into a physical assault when Mary Rashelle Fry, 18 of Lexington Park, threw a phone, attempted to choke and punched the victim in the chest.
Mary Fry was charged with second-degree assault.
