Annapolis, MD — Two teenagers are in custody after leading police on a short chase in a stolen car.
Around 8:45 p.m. on Monday night, an officer patrolling Calvert Street spotted a Ford Focus that was reported stolen earlier in the day from Maryland Avenue.
The officer attempted to stop the vehicle but the driver fled to Obery Court. Police say at least four people fled the vehicle on foot. Officers stopped and arrested two teenagers, a 14-year-old male and a 15-year-old male.
They were charged as juveniles with auto theft and released to their guardians.
