On May 21 at 9:19 p.m., Trooper Bodnar of the Maryland State Police was dispatched to Fox Run Liquors in Prince Frederick for a shoplifting complaint.
The suspect was recorded on a security camera, and a vehicle description was obtained. Calvert Control broadcasted a lookout, and Deputy Coates, of the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office stopped the vehicle on Route 4 in Dunkirk.
The stolen liquor was located in the vehicle. Alverto Rosales, 28, of Jessup was arrested for theft under $100. After processing, he was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing.
