Summer Camp: Chesapeake Legends and Explorers beginning July 28 (9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily through July 31), located at Calvert Marine Museum, 14200 Solomons Island Road S, Solomons, MD – This 4-day camp for rising 5th and 6th graders dives into Southern Maryland’s folklore, archaeology, and history through storytelling, field trips, and hands-on exploration. Humane Society Lunch/Dinner Fundraiser on July 29 (starting at 11:00 a.m.), located at Chesapeake Market and Grille, 7150 Lake Shore Dr, North Beach, MD – Let Chesapeake Market and Grille handle lunch or dinner while supporting a great cause.
