
SOUTHERN MARYLAND —March is kicking off with a weekend full of fun across Calvert, Charles and St. Mary’s counties, featuring live music, theater, hands-on workshops, family festivals, races, art receptions and community celebrations.
Highlights include the documentary screening of “Shall We Gather” at St. Mary’s College of Maryland, the Hot for Chocolate 5K in St. Leonard, Mario Party for Kids in Lusby, Try Hockey for Free in Waldorf, fossil identification at Calvert Marine Museum and Leonardtown’s March Madness festivities. From paint parties and worship experiences to live bands and historic lectures, there’s something happening in every corner of Southern Maryland.
