LEONARDTOWN, Md. — The bags are flying once again for a great cause. Three Oaks Center is bringing back its high-energy cornhole tournament fundraiser for the second year in a row, set to take place Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 1 to 8 p.m. at Action Lounge and Billiards, located at 25470 Point Lookout Road, Unit F, Leonardtown, MD 20650.
The community is invited to toss bags, win prizes and raise money to support the center’s mission to combat homelessness in Southern Maryland.
The event will feature a Switcholio-style tournament — a blind draw round-robin format where players are paired with a new teammate for every match and ranked on an individual basis. Entry is $20 per player, with 50 percent of the pot going to Three Oaks Center. The top three players will take home the rest of the prize money.
Registration is available in advance through the Scoreholio app, or players may register in person starting at noon on event day. Bags fly at 1 p.m. In addition to the tournament, attendees can take part in a 50/50 raffle and themed basket raffles.

Three Oaks Center, a nonprofit organization, was founded in 1992 to address homelessness in St. Mary’s County. Created to serve homeless men, the center has since expanded its mission to support women, families and individuals living with mental illness.
The center offers a comprehensive system of care that includes:
- Street outreach to connect with unsheltered individuals and guide them toward housing and services.
- Emergency shelters offering short-term support and stabilization.
- Prevention services to help at-risk individuals and families avoid eviction and homelessness.
- Rapid rehousing to quickly move clients from homelessness to permanent housing.
- Permanent supportive housing for chronically homeless individuals and families with disabilities, combining stable housing with long-term supportive services.
All proceeds from the tournament will support Three Oaks Center’s efforts to provide housing and stabilization services for the St. Mary’s County community. For more information, visit threeoakscenter.org.
