On Monday, June 06, 2011, at approximately 9:15 pm, the Huntingtown Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad (Co. 6), their ambulances and Medic Unit responded to Claggett Road for a reported overturned vehicle.
They found the same with one person and still in the vehicle. He was removed from the car and taken back to safe area away from the downed live power wires on car. The area was taped off by police for safety.
After treatment at the scene he was transported by ambulance to the landing zone for Eagle One helicopter to be transported to hospital.
SMECO also arrived on the scene to turn off the power and to make repairs as needed.
