Two-Vehicle Collision Leaves One Injured On Three Notch Road

DAMERON, Md. — Emergency personnel responded to the intersection of Three Notch Road and Trapp Road on Monday, April 7, 2025, following reports of a fiery vehicle crash.

Initial calls indicated a vehicle may have been on fire, but arriving units quickly determined there was no active fire. Chief 4 was first on scene at approximately 3:45 p.m. and confirmed a two-vehicle collision with one patient requiring medical evaluation.

Firefighters worked to secure the vehicles and assist with traffic control as lanes were partially blocked during the response. The patient was transported to MedStar St. Mary’s Hospital with minor injuries.

Emergency crews cleared the scene by 4:25 p.m.

The St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the cause of the crash.
