Final UPDATE from the Leonardtown High School Principal on 9/29/14 at 11:13 a.m.:

Leonardtown High School,

The possible threat at Leonardtown High School has been investigated and was determined to not be credible. The school continues to function as normal.

This will be my final communication regarding this incident unless there are changes to the update from the sheriff’s office.

I also want to take a moment to let families know how incredibly proud I am of our students. As I walked through classrooms this morning they were focused on instruction. They certainly do make me proud!

Respectfully,

Maureen Montgomery

Principal
