ANNAPOLIS, Md. โ€” Governor Larry Hogan today announced that, according to official CDC data, Maryland has achieved the milestone of vaccinating 75% of adults with at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.

โ€œPresident Biden set a national goal of vaccinating 70% of adults by the Fourth of July. Maryland set an ambitious goal of reaching that milestone by Memorial Day, and we did exactly that,โ€ said Governor Hogan. โ€œNow, with the help of our $2 million vaccine lottery, we have vaccinated 75% of adults by the Fourth of Julyโ€”outpacing the nation and many other states. We are committed to leaving no arm behind.โ€

To date, Maryland has reported 6,894,069 total vaccinations. It is the last day to get vaccinated to be eligible for tomorrowโ€™s grand prize drawing in the stateโ€™s $2 million Vax Cash Promotion.
