Owings, MD – On Monday, Aug. 24, around 4:40 p.m., Calvert County responders were dispatched to the scene of an automobile accident off Chaneyville Road near Route 4 in Owings. Authorities confirmed a vehicle was accidentally driven into a pond located behind World Gym.

The driver was removed from the vehicle. There is no information available on the condition of the driver at this time.
