
INDIAN HEAD, Md. – Charles County emergency responders were dispatched early this morning after a reported disturbance that escalated into a vehicle-related injury.
At about 12:55 a.m., 911 dispatchers received a call reporting that a woman leaving the scene had run over her boyfriend with a vehicle following a loud argument. Because of the nature of the call, EMS crews were instructed to stage until the Charles County Sheriffโs Office secured the area.
Rescue units responded to 4400 Livingston Road. Upon entering the scene, responders located a 47-year-old male who was conscious, alert and breathing. He had road rash and was able to walk.
Paramedics began treatment and transported the man to Charles Regional Medical Center. Early reports indicated a leg injury.
The incident remains under investigation by the Charles County Sheriffโs Office.
