Black Friday Store in Waldorf

WALDORF, Md. — The old Big Lots location in Waldorf is back in business—this time with bins, bargains, and a bit of chaos. Black Friday Daily Deals opened its doors on Friday, June 13, at 1170 Smallwood Drive West, offering a new kind of shopping experience built around deep discounts, surprise finds, and a new way to dig for deals.

The concept is simple: Most things in the store are one flat price each day—starting at $10 on Fridays and dropping to just $1 by Wednesday. New bins are added to the floor every 30 minutes, so no two trips are ever quite the same. While most shoppers come for the hunt in the bins, the store also offers larger items like couches, outdoor furniture, and electronics, all priced far below retail.

While not affiliated with Amazon, the store offers a wide range of products sourced from major retailers, including Amazon, Walmart and Target. These include shelf pulls, customer returns, and overstock items—offering shoppers a constantly rotating inventory of name-brand and off-brand goods at steeply reduced prices.

How It Works: Daily Price Drops and Fresh Finds

Each Friday, a new truckload of merchandise is unloaded into large bins. Prices start at $10 per item and drop by $2 each day until Wednesday:

  • Friday (Restock Day) – $10 per item
  • Saturday – $8 per item
  • Sunday – $6 per item
  • Monday – $4 per item
  • Tuesday – $2 per item
  • Wednesday – $1 per item
  • Thursday – Closed for restocking

To keep shoppers coming back, new merchandise is rolled out every 30 minutes, covered until the countdown hits. It’s a bit of a spectacle—shoppers gather around, waiting to see what’s new in the bins.

Expect the Unexpected
Of course, not every bin holds gold. Shoppers should be ready for a few surprises—like half-inflated pool floats in January or a single left shoe with no match in sight. It’s all part of the fun. Bring your patience, your curiosity, and maybe a little hand sanitizer—because you truly never know what you’ll pull out next.

  1. It is like look through trash to find something you might want to buy. There are out dated foods and drinks. The merchandise is out dated and things you don’t want. It is kinda sad to watch people look for anything to buy for a cheep price. It has a lot of low income and shady people in there as well. In my opinion not a safe place or area.
