Walmart employee charged with theft of over $6,000

St. Mary’s County Deputy Jason Smith responded to Walmart in California on November 18th for a reported employee theft.

Loss prevention employees reported the suspect identified as Sheila Aleese Wagner, 21, of Great Mills, stole over $6,000.00 from the cash register while working over a period of 10 days. Wagner was placed under arrest and transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center.

She was charged with 4 COUNTS of Theft Under $10,000, 3 COUNTS of Theft Under $1,000, Theft Scheme Under $10,000, and Possession Controlled Dangerous Substance Paraphernalia after a smoking device was found in her handbag.
