PRINCE FREDERICK, Md. — Discover the story behind your treasured heirlooms and collectibles at the Antique Appraisal Roadshow on Saturday, Sept. 26, at the Calvert Library Prince Frederick location. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with doors opening at 10 a.m. and appraisals beginning at 10:30 a.m.
Professional appraiser Todd Peenstra will be on hand to evaluate antiques, collectibles and other unique treasures. Appraisals are available for $20 per item, offering participants the opportunity to learn more about the history, significance and potential value of their cherished possessions.
Whether you have a family heirloom tucked away in the attic, a vintage collectible or an intriguing flea market find, this event is a fun and informative opportunity to uncover the stories behind your items.
All proceeds from the Antique Appraisal Roadshow will benefit the Arts Council of Calvert County and the Friends of Calvert Library, supporting arts, culture and literacy programs that enrich the Calvert County community.
Community members are encouraged to register early, as appraisals will be conducted in the order they are received through signups.
