A woman drove herself to the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge on Chancellors Run Road shortly after 9 p.m. Wednesday, after being cut on the arm by a man trying to rob her at a drive-up ATM window.

The woman said a black male in his 20s in an orange knit hat approached her vehicle after she withdrew cash. He waived a kitchen knife and demanded money.

When the woman refused, a struggle ensued and the man reached in the vehicle and cut the woman on the arm.

The suspect then walked away with another man who was looming in the shadows.

The woman was at the Bank of America Drive-up lane, which is located on North Shangri-La Drive.

Police spread out over the area looking for the men, and an ambulance was dispatched for the woman, who was treated for a small cut.

The incident occurred at exactly 9 p.m. The man was described as being 6โ€™2โ€.
