LEONARDTOWN, Md. – On Feb. 2, Dep. Fenwick responded to the 23000 block of Oakley Road in Avenue and located a vehicle in the middle of the roadway with no lights on, and the driver asleep behind the wheel.
The vehicle operator was identified as Terry Ann Nelson, age 54 of Chaptico. It was determined Nelson had been operating the vehicle under the influence of alcohol. Nelson was arrested and charged with Driving Vehicle While Under the Influence of Alcohol and Driving Vehicle While Impaired by Alcohol. CASE# 6734-19
