How many more accidents is it gonna take to start patrolling this road or install speed cameras?
speed cameras dont stop people from speeding
Then they can pay up
Alot accidents near the bridge carryout, people need to pay attention and slow down
They can slow down or open up them wallets, itโs that simple
Yes they do, they have also been proven to reduce accidents by 75 percent
People can slow down or go broke
Yes they do or you can go broke
I heard it was really foggy at that point in the morning. If so, take precaution and do not speed.
It was very foggy and the sun was also very bright this morning. Chances are, someone couldn’t see very well and crossed the line.
There was no fog, I travel that road everyday, twice a day
My husband hit years ago on Rt 231. He survived but with a lifelong injury. This road has way too many serious accidents. Something needs to be done.
It took them 4 decades to put up a light at 231 at the industrial park and it needed to be put up at least 20 years sooner. Finally rerouted traffic for Hallowing Point Park into the industrial park and made left turns from westbound 231 into the park illegal. People still insist on making the left turn into the park anyway. Between the inaction by the SHA and the idiocy of people, I don’t think things are going to improve on 231 any time soon.
Yes they do
