On Wednesday, October 5th, at 12:32 AM, TPR Stein stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation on Centre Avenue in Prince Frederick.
The driver was Robert Wayne Morey, III, an 18 year old from Prince Frederick. Upon contact with Morey, TPR Stein detected the odor of suspected marijuana.
The Trooper advised Morey that he could smell marijuana, and Morey responded by handing Trooper Stein a baggie full of it.
At that time, Morey was placed under arrest for possession of marijuana. After processing, he was transported to the CCDC to await a commissioner’s hearing.
