At 1:20 am, on Wednesday, March 9, TFC Rezza observed a silver Toyota 4Runner weaving on north bound Rt. 4 north of Rt. 235 in California. A traffic stop was initiated for the violation.
Contact was made with the driver, Carlton Everett Russell, 39 of St. Leonard. During the course of the traffic stop, Mr. Russell was arrested for driving under the influence.
A search incident to the arrest also revealed Mr. Russell was in possession of marijuana and has been charged accordingly.
He was transported to the St. Mary’s County Detention Center pending a bond review.
